Educational Council

Would you like to be part of MIT's admissions process?

Members of the MIT Educational Council (EC) interview freshman applicants and act as the face of MIT to applicants and their parents. The Washington, DC Metropolitan Area EC is led by Greg Greeley, phone 703-608-6262, Regional Chair, who is assisted by six Vice-Chairs.

The Washington area depends on a large and vigorous group of volunteers to serve on the EC, given the large number of applicants we typically have each year from this area. Each of the local counties needs new Educational Coundelors. They generally are assigned to one or more schools based on where they reside. If you'd like to be part of this very important Institute program, please contact the EC Vice-Chair for the county or area in which you reside.
